About Teddy
Teddy is a one year old male Labrador cross that is looking for a home that is committed to continuing his training.
Teddy is a strong boy that has been through two homes already in his short life. Teddy is responding well to training and clear expectations of him. Teddy is a typical Labrador that is food motivated.
Work has gone into Teddy learning to walk well on lead, but he still gets excited and pulls when he see's something of interest such as a person, another dog or picks up and interesting scent.
Teddy is dominant with other dogs. Having said that he is easily corrected when on lead. Further work is needed in this area. We believe he has not been well socialised as a pup and does not know how to appropriately interact.
This boy has so much potential he just needs a committed owner that will continue the training started.
Teddy requires a home as an only pet. He is great with people.
Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
