About Poppy
Poppy is a really happy young girl, who gets on well with other dogs, children, cats and chickens.
As would be expected of a kelpie, she is very active and intelligent. This means her new home must be one where she gets lots of exercise and mental stimulation.
She will need ongoing training, including loose lead walking.
Poppy loves the beach and really enjoys running around with other dogs. She is a real sweetie and deserves the very best home.
Medical notes
Poppy had an accident when she was very young, leaving her with an injured back leg. It does not slow her up in the least, and veterinary advice is that it will not stop her leading a normal, active life. She may need medication in her later years if arthritis develops.
Adoption details
The adoption process involves a phone discussion, followed by contact by the branch with two suitable referees (such as a vet). There may be a home visit.
