About Dagger - Meet and Greet organised
Dagger is a fourteen month old black male German Shepherd who is now looking for a new home. He is currently in foster care at Dubbo, but will be coming into Sydney to be desexed before going to his new home.
Dagger is looking for an active family that are experienced with this beautiful breed, who will commit the time.
Due to Dagger's young age and size it is recommended a home with older dog savvy children. Dagger is living with a female German Shepherd, but as not been tested with small dogs, cats or pocket pets.
This young shepherd needs a committed owner who will need to understand he will need consistency, firm boundaries and plenty of stimulation and playtime.
Intelligence, loyalty, love and companionship is what Dagger will provide. He will require an active family home, daily walks and with games and playtime is a must.
If you love your shepherds and understand their “human” qualities then Dagger is the soul mate dog you have been looking for.
If you think you can give Dagger a new home, please contact us by selecting the orange button "Enquire about this pet".
Medical notes
Dagger is microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heart worm prevention, and will be desexed before going to his new home.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
