Barney is a happy & enthusiastic character who has been a house pet for the last 3 years. He is now in great health after coming to us extremely undernourished. Barney has put on more than 6kg in recent weeks and now has a sleek silky coat.

Barney is used to being primarily an indoor dog - although he will tolerate short periods in the yard he is much more relaxed inside. He loves human company and would be best suited to a home where his people are around much of the time. He gets on well with larger dogs (he is currently in foster care with an older female Labrador). He would love a family (perhaps with kids 10 years plus) who will involve him in their daily activities. Barney already has Greenhounds status. He has not been tested with cats.
