Matilda

Hi. My name is Matilda but my foster mum calls me Tilly. She says I am a beautiful girl and everyone that meets me loves me. My foster family, the rescue and the vets are really not sure what my breed is but I am a soft soul with a sweet and placid nature.

I had a sad beginning where I was not being well looked after by my owners. I had 15 puppies and they would not let me with them and they became very unwell. My puppies and I ended up at the pound. My fate was uncertain until the people at A Mini Rescue put their hand up to save me.

My babies and I went to a lovely foster family who showered us all with love. My babies are almost all adopted but I am now waiting my turn.

I am friendly to all animals. I am currently living on a property with lots of children. Horses, chickens, dogs and a cat. I like them all. In fact, one of the mini ponies and I are good play mates. We play chasey games like a game of tag. The pony chases me and then I chase her. Its all-in fun and we love each other. I sometimes chase the magpies but if my foster mummy tells me to stop then I do.

My foster mum says I am the diplomat of the family. If there is some tension between the two-legged siblings, I go and stand in the middle to try and calm everyone down and sort out the problem.

I love my foster dad and wherever he goes I am not far behind.

I love car trips and spending time with my humans. I am looking for a home where you will love me and allow me to be a big part of your family. A place where I can be an inside and outside dog and share in the family adventures. Can you open up your heart and your home to me? I deserve my happy ending. Are you the one to give me that?
