The beautiful Cookie is now ready to go to her forever home 💕

Being deaf, Cookie absolutely loves and relies on her people for comfort and direction. Whilst she’s a strong, independent girl, so also loves nothing more than to lean into you to get a cuddle, smooch or ear scratch. She loves to feel connected to the family, keep you in sight and particularly children - Cookie is very gentle and sweet with kids.

Cookie is not only lovely, she’s got speedy legs too! She’s energetic, LOVES a good run, chasing a ball with other dogs and generally feeling the wind in her ears so daily walks are a definite must. On top of a good run, her new found love in her foster home is the trampoline! She loves loves loves it and cannot wait to get on it each day and bounce!

At home, she is calm and respectful, enjoys spending time on the lounge at TV time, enjoying a few rays of sunshine in your grassy backyard or hanging with the kids (if you have them).

Cookies ideal home would include:
- A family that has empathy and also a willingness to learn sign commands to communicate with Cookie (we will help you with this) as this will take time and needs patience
- An active family, plenty of day to day activities, outings, walks that keep her enriched
- Always the ability to have her see you so an open door policy to inside your home is a must
- A warm comfy bed inside to sleep at night
- No cats, she is not a fan
- A submissive male dog as a companion would be great for her as she currently gets on well with her buddy in her foster home
- Children over 5yrs with experience with bigger dogs could also be good but not essential
- Plenty of structure so she can feel secure and relax
