About Gypsy
π π‘ π ATTENTION NSW/ACT: Loving Gypsy has begun her search of her forever home! π π‘ π
During October, the team received an SOS call π from a Sydney pound regarding Gypsy, who at the time was in terrible condition and was subsequently rushed to our veterinarians for life saving emergency surgery the very next day.
Fast forward a few weeks and Gypsy has recovered from her initial surgery and was strong enough to begin the remainder of her treatment. Just last week, she underwent ear resection surgery, had her inguinal hernia repaired and a dental.
Unfortunately, she does not handle anesthetic as well as most so surgery on her second ear was not performed and will be rescheduled. π©ββοΈ
Whilst she recovers and prepares to undergo further surgery, we would like to commence our search for her forever home as we know itβs not always easy to re-home a senior.
Information about Gypsy (please read carefully):
βͺοΈ AGE: 9 years old
βͺοΈ BREED: Pug Cross
βͺοΈ LOCATION: Sydney
βͺοΈ KIDS: Gets on well with older children
βͺοΈ CATS: Untested
βͺοΈ MEDICAL NOTES: Gypsy is healthy, although due to her older age (and like some of us) she does suffer from arthritis. This is easily manageable by her new family providing Gypsy with quarterly Synovan injections and a daily Glyde chew. While none of the medication is expensive, it is a lifelong commitment to ensure this special girl gets to live the rest of her life pain free.β
IDEAL HOME:
Gypsy is such a happy and loving little girl who enjoys being around human companionship and being your shadow. It would be preferable to rehome her with a family whereby someone is home more often than not. She loves her cuddles and sitting on the lounge with you.π₯°
She is loyal and protective and will let you know when you have a visitor! Whilst Gypsy gets on well with other four-legged companions, she does like her alone time, so she is able to be re-homed as an only pet or with a non-boisterous companion.
Gypsy is well trained, enjoys her daily walks and walks well on the lead. She is house trained and will require to be an inside Pug with access to the outdoors.π»
We know there is a family out there that would be perfect for Gypsy, so if you believe your family is able to provide her with the loving home that she so much deserves β€οΈ, we would love to hear from you.
