About Patric
Hi,
I’m Patric, I was named after a kind volunteer who drove, with his wife, over 3 hours (round trip) to get me to safety. I was found when I was about 4 weeks old, so malnourished I was about the size of a 6 week old kitten. I had a huge abscess on my chest almost as big as my head. I’m really glad I didn’t know it at the time, but the vets didn’t know if I’d make it through the next 48 hours - but here I am, all happy and healthy, I made it! Now I just need a home for Christmas.
I’ve been living with my foster mum and dad and their pack of 6 house dogs and two cats. I have my crate for sleeping at night and other times when they need to contain me, otherwise I have the run of their (carpet free) home. I’m toilet trained in the sense that I almost always toilet on towels they have on the floor for me...........well ok, I sometimes have little wetting accidents, just like all babies, but not very often. I can easily learn to toilet outside when I’m bigger.
I’m just starting to (want to) play with the dogs in my foster home, but they’re all older and get grumpy at me so I have to play with toys instead. I would love a home with another youngish dog who will want to play with me.
I’m a bit of a snuggler and will take all the cuddles you want to give me.
I’m in foster care at Moree, NSW. Because I’m so small, I can fly to my new home quite cheaply.
My mum said the last photos are of me when I was very thin and miserable, so you can compare them to how I am now.
If you would love to be my new family, send my mum an email through Petrescue and tell her all about the kind of home you can give me, who is in your family, their work hours, other pets etc.
Medical notes
I’m vet checked, the vet said I’m very healthy now.
