About Wombat
Wombat is looking for a home where he is allowed to spend his time indoors and sleep indoors and where someone's home majority of the time.
He will also need another calm, desexed doggy companion in his new home, he doesn't play a lot with other dogs so won't be a good match for an overly active dog.
He is a friendly little guy to dogs and people
Medium to low energy
Has playful times
Loves hanging with his people
Good in car
Good on lead
Good in crate
Doesn’t bark much
He has never been around cats so a hime woth no cats is best.
He needs continued training with the basic commands loves to eat his meals through training and its a good way to bond with him.
He has had lots of changes in short period of time so can get nervous in new environments and could be a little slow to come around but with hand feeding and spending time with him he will improve and show how sweet he is, he can be timid around loud noises and sudden movements.
He can get over excited and start jumping on you usually when you have been away even for a short time and has on a few occasions nipped out of excitement so no children over 10.
He loves the older the children in his foster home. He loves to cuddle chase play tug and walk with them. He just loves being with his people.
Approximately 10 kgs
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
