About Boof
Our beautiful Boof is looking for his forever home.
Boof is a loyal, affectionate boy looking for a forever home to shower him in love and cuddles. He is good with other small size dogs, cats and kids and loves nothing more than a good, thorough belly rub.
Since Boof came into care he has already lost over 8kgs and doing really well on his weight loss. He will need to go to a family / person who will be mindful of his weight and help him continue to loose some and allow him to exercise.
Boof is an absolute delight to be around and the most loving and gentle boy you can meet.
Boof is currently fostered with many small breed dogs and is great with them. He also shows no interest in the family cat.
Boof loves to have a swim in his pool on hot days but being mindful of his breed will need to be able to have access to air conditioning etc. Boof does enjoy sleeping inside at night (often on the couch - but happy to go to his spot with a blanket under him)
Boof also has lost some eyesight in his left eye due to previous complications and as such can sometimes give a growl at you if you startle him while he is still getting to know you. For this reason we would ask that he not be around children under the age of 7 with out supervision until he is very comfortable with his new family, once comfortable he is awesome around kids.

If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
