About Nubica
Introducing Miss Nubica! This girl has the whole package, from her cute as a button looks, to her absolutely soul healing cuddles and her contagious zest for life you can’t help but fall in love with her.
Nubica is coming leaps and bounds in care and is a very smart girl. She has learnt to sit, walk on a leash and use the doggy door. Her toilet training is almost perfect and she happily uses the doggy door to take herself out during the night. Her new owner should enroll in puppy school to utilise her intelligence and help form that initial bond.
If you’re after cuddles, they will be plentiful with this pup! Whilst she is independent enough to sleep through the night and entertain herself with her toys, she loves nothing more than endless cuddles and pats. She will literally jump into your lap and stay there until the pats stop. She absolutely loves children but we recommend a home with slightly older children as she doesn’t realise her size and might knock a small child over while trying to get cuddles. In saying that she is not a biter and has been very gentle with all the children she has met.
Nubica’s confidence has grown at impressive rates since being in care and she now LOVES to meet new people and dogs, but loud noises and new people crowding her does understandably still overwhelm her slightly. Her new owner should be committed to taking her out and about daily to continue her socialisation. She has moderate exercise needs so will need a good amount exercise provided daily.
Due to her young age we will be looking for a family that has someone home most of the time or a family that has another playful resident dog to keep her company while you are out. She is not suitable to be an outdoor dog and should be included in the family activities. She will need to be provided with a good quality puppy diet and a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night.
