About Circus - Located in Murrumbeena
Circus is a smoochy, loving, chirpy boy who loves to be on your lap, or at least within scratching and patting distance. He loves to be around you and helps out with his loud purrs and cuddly tummy. Circus is tolerant of everyone and everything. He happily wore a beautiful corsage for the Cat Lounge wedding around his neck and looked as dapper as ever!
Circus will sleep with you, eat with you, play with you, and give you so much love that you'd swear he was multiple cats in one furry body! But don't think he's needy! He's still a cat after-all and will also happily ignore you while he soaks up the sunshine.
Circus and friends are currently working cats at the Cat Lounge at Neko HQ where they entertains guests with their purrticular charm. All Cats in the Cat Lounge are available for adoption, there are no permanent residents, so every time you visit you will be meeting different cats.
I am FIV+ - but don't see that as a negative, because I really am a great catch.
Read more about FIV under "Medical Notes".
All funds raised at Neko HQ are to benefit Maneki Neko Cat Rescue.

Medical notes
The adoption fee includes de-sexing, micro-chip, current vaccination, flea and worm treatment while in care.
Circus is FIV positive.
FIV positive cats live a normal life for many many years and we cannot predict the life span of these cats. FIV positive cats sometimes have a scruffy coat and the condition can lead to chronic recurrent infections in the mouth, eye and skin. FIV cannot infect people, however it can infect other cats through bite wounds commonly from fights. FIV positive cats can co-exist with other cats that don't have FIV without issues.
We encourage that the cat is either an indoor cat or a confined cat - eg access to a cat run outdoors. We recommend regular vet visits (6 monthly) to monitor weight, coat changes, mouth etc.
No other known health issues.
Maneki Neko Cat Rescue would like to help ensure you and your new companion/s have a long and happy life together. Please be advised that if you should find that you are not a purrfect match, or if you need to rehome your new pet at any stage of its life, Maneki Neko Cat Rescue will take the cat back into care and find a new home.
Maneki Neko Cat Rescue provides a 7 day health warranty on all adoptions. Although all our cats and kittens are health checked prior to adoption, sometimes the stress of a new environment can upset their immune system.
