This gorgeous boy has been in our care for a long 14 weeks after finding himself in the pound and he is now SO ready to move into his new forever home.

This good looking lad has taken a long time to realise that people are good beyond just the fact that they bring him food. But now that realisation has hit him like a tonne of bricks and he wants to be patted and smooched like nobody's business.

We suspect that Donkey was owned and loved as a kitten but was likely to have been dumped or abandoned some time ago. He's had to fend for himself for a while, so it's not hard to understand why he has taken some time to learn how to trust humans again.

Although he has become a real smooch with his foster mum now, he's likely to need a little bit of time and patience to build that same relationship with a new person - so his wonderful new family will need to remember that the first couple of weeks you'll need to take things slowly.

Donkey LOVES to play! Even though he's a great big boy, he is a kitten at heart and he enjoys toys and balls and things on strings.
Donkey gets on well with other cats and he loves the little foster kittens in his temporary home. He would be happy in a home with a playful kitty who is looking for a companion (or as an only cat, if he gets lots of opportunities to play!)
He may also be okay with a dog, pending a slow introduction.

Donkey isn't suited to very small children but in a home with teens or adults he will very quickly establish himself as a true part of the family.
