About Maisy
Meet Maisy 🌸
This girl loves nothing more than cuddles and human company. Although she does play with other dogs, shes not an overly playful pup as she just prefers the company of another dog or person. Her favourite thing to do is lay on the couch and kick the pillows around (doesn’t chew them) and follow you around whilst you do chores. Maisy is still getting the hang of toilet training but with a bit of training and maturing she has potential to be a wonderful dog. Although she has never tried to escape we believe she could be suited to someone that is home regularly or someone with dog because she loves the company, she has been outside during the day and inside for sleeping at night. She isn’t phased by cats but is intrigued by pet birds and is also unsure about tvs, but with a little reassurance she will be okay. Aswell as being a big drinker (she gets hiccups a lot) she has found a new interest of going for a swim in the pool. She is becoming increasingly good with commands and walking on the lead. Her soft heart and puppy eyes are sure to win you over.

All of our dogs are desexed, vaccinated, micro chipped and heart worm treated. There are no exceptions.

Adoption Process
If you should choose to adopt a dog from SEQ K9 Rescue Inc:
You will be asked to complete an Online Adoption Application.
Completing this form helps us to determine if the dog you are applying for will fit your family. Some dogs have special needs so we may be looking for a specific forever home.
After you have completed the Online Adoption Application, we will have the information to determine if you are a good match for the dog you are applying for. Sometimes we may recommend another dog we have in our care.
Next, we will arrange for you to meet the dog/puppy.
We ask that you bring along your children and your dog to the meet. A yard check (or yard photos) will be checked and only then will approval be considered.
Please remember sometimes there are several applications for the same dog so this process may take up to a week.
If your application is approved, now is the time to invest in a dog harness, led, bedding and toys.
All adoption fees must be cleared before our dogs can be collected from our carers. Our carers are not allowed to accept cash. Bank deposit/transfers only.
We also offer a 2 week trial period - if your new family member is not settling please contact SEQ K9 Rescue Inc via email immediately. We are happy to assist with training or advise if the dog has not settled.
If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to the rescue organisation, the adoption fee minus a $50 non-refundable deposit will be refunded to you. Your refund will be returned via bank transfer within 10 working days.
If the dog is returned after the trial period generally no refund will be made.
Interstate adoptions may be requested to supply additional information and photographs of the proposed environment for the dog. Interstate adopter must pay transport costs in addition to the adoption fee.
If the dog is to return from an interstate adoption, the adopter is to pay all costs to return the animal to SEQ K9 Rescue Inc in Brisbane.
