About Deanie
Hi, I’m Deanie. I was a bit fearful of everything when I first came to Greyhound Rescue, but with the love and care of all the vollies I’m slowly learning about the big wide world and building my confidence. I’m still a timid girl though, so I’m looking for a very special home where my people can give me plenty of space and let me take things at my own pace. That means for now I’d prefer a home without small kids, and where I’m the only dog – although if you have a chilled out big-dog brother for me, that might be okay.
Are you the special home I’m looking for? Get in touch at info@greyhoundrescue.com.au or fill in an application form.

Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
