About Alzirr
Since being in care Alzirr has shown just how good of a pet he will make one lucky family.
He is such a sweet, gentle boy who is quite happy to just be with you. He has been spending time with an older larger dog and has also been around other smaller dogs and is fine with everyone.
Alzirr has had some experience on the lead, and is happy with being in the car. He has a very playful side and loves playing with a rope. Either tug o war with you or just by himself. He would love to hang out and play with other dogs, so being well socialised and having access to friendly, playful dogs would be ideal.
In his foster home, Alzirr has been spending time with a two-year old child and has shown his gentle side, he is eager to play but does not pester her if she does not want to play with him. He has shown just how easily he can adapt to your lifestyle since being in care.
He has been learning to sit and some manners when it comes to food, he has also spent some time in the crate but has settled better curled up with the older dog. We are working on house training him, but he still has a little way to go. He would need a home where ongoing training is non negotiable, as he has a lot to learn but also a lot of potential. He has learnt simple commands and reacts well to discipline as part of his training. His new family should be committed to his ongoing training to ensure he develops into the best doggy he can be.
As a working breed mix, he has high energy levels so will require consistent daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy and healthy.
Alzirr will do best in home that will ensure his physical and mental stimulation needs are met, will include him in family outings and adventures, have another playful dogs at home for company and or someone home most days and be a mostly inside dog to lounge with his family.
If you feel you can meet his needs and would love to make him a part of your family unit, please apply by completing the adoption enquiry form via our Fetching Dogs website as the next step.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
