Howdy-Doody! Tell me what's new!

Nessie is my name and fetching is my game (I love toys). I'm an adolescent pup looking for a second chance at life. I've had a pretty rough start to my short life and really hope that my next chapter is much more positive.

I'm the triple S combo; Sweet, social and sensitive. I can be a little unsure in new situations, so my new family will have to take their time with me while I'm adjusting to my new life. I will need a family who will understand my needs and preferably has border collie breed experience.

I'm a smart cookie that wants to use my brain to learn new things like tricks and manners. I would love it if my new family kept me busy with lots of enrichment like food puzzles and games. One thing you should know about me is that I like to be around humans so much that when I'm left alone I tend to fret. I would like to live with a family who either works part-time, from home or who is home more often than not. I could potentially live with another calm, social dog and older dog savvy kids pending a meet.

I would love to go for quiet walks with my family instead of busy dog areas - I want to take things at my own pace and not be pushed into anything too quickly.
