About Simba
Simba has a story to tell and if only cats could talk! After spending 2 ½ years on the street he has finally come back into SAFE's care. Yes he was with SAFE prior but escaped care by racing out the front door just 2 days before flying to his new home. He is timid at first and will run and hide from loud noises and people, after spending all that time on the street I would too! He has been in care for the past week now at SAFE Karratha and although he is still getting used to the noise and people coming and going, he is a lot more relaxed and settles quickly after his initial concerns. He is a talker and loves to chat to you. He will need someone who is patient with him an allow him to settle into his new home and just be there for him and assure him it is ok. He is learning to relax and even to play .He seems to love Catnip! He is becoming more confident as the days go by. He has been introduced to the resident cat here at SAFE who has tolerated him and both have not really shown any real interest in each other. (no sign of fisticuffs!) If you have the love and time to give to this regal feline he will most likely thrive in your care!
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
