About Oscar & Mika
Oscar and Mika are one of the best pairs of kittens we have ever had to pleasure to rescue. They are extremely sweet natured who are total lap cats and love everyone around them. They even broke their foster sister who did not want a bar of them to begin with.
Oscar the ginger boy is a Total love bug who just loves being cuddled and patted. He loves his food and has a huge appetite and tries to steal all the food from Mika . Oscar loves having a play with toys and his brother but he is also quite calm and loves to chill.
Mika the white tabby is also very affectionate and is very playful and energetic and lucky for his brother is not very food driven. He is literally a cat genius who is obsessed with his wand toy and does amazing things with it to make it more fun.
Together they make a dynamic duo who anyone would be lucky to call their own.

The Adoption Process
1. Choose a cat
It's essential you choose the right cat that suits your family and home. Most of our cats are available as singles but some cats are only available as 'bonded pairs'.
2. fill in the adoption application form (link below)
We do everything possible to ensure our cats go to loving and suitable homes. The adoption application helps us understand your circumstances and, if suitable, make recommendations on which cats may be more suitable.
Application Form: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=cg1712&method=online_form_html&formid=36
3. Meet the cat/s
We'll arrange a meet and greet, with the cats, at the foster carers home. Each cat available for adoption is currently living with one of our amazing foster carers, located all over Sydney. The suburb for each cat is labelled on the cat's profile page.
4. home inspection
If all parties are happy, we will then arrange a home inspection. This is to ensure the information provided is genuine and the cats have a suitable home. Please note that all volunteers work full time so in most cases it will be after work hours or weekends, depending on your location.
5. finalising vet Work
All cats are adopted out desexed, microchipped and with up to date vaccination flea and worm treatments.depending on the cat's age, condition rescued or time since rescuing, the vet work may not be complete.
Please note: the $250.00 Adoption fee also covers a $57.00 lifetime registration fee.
6. pay deposit
A non refundable deposit of $100.00 will be required to hold any cat. Please note we do not hold cats if you are unable to take the cat when it is ready. If you are not ready at the moment, please only apply once you are ready.
7. pay the remaining balance
Typically, this is $150 as we charge a total of $250 for each cat adopted. This fee contributes towards the vet bills & care since rescue.
8. START YOUR TRIAL ADOPTION
All cats are adopted out on a 2 week trial adoption to make sure it is the right fit for everyone.
We reserve the right to decline any applications.
