Snoopy

Hi There!
My name is Snoopy and I am looking for that special someone to love.
I originally came into rescue as a puppy and quickly got adopted. My family really loved me, but they had a little girl who has a disability and as I grew, she got very scared. Unfortunately, they just could not keep me, so I came back to the lovely people at AMR.
Then, whilst I was in care, I had a bit of an accident and managed to break my back leg. The lovely vets have put a rod in the bone, but then I had to have more surgery as there was a bit of a problem. I am feeling better now, but I am currently on strict rest until such time that the leg has healed, so if you could help me become big and strong again, that would be awesome!

I am housetrained, I just love car rides and am happy to chill out and go to sleep and currently live with 2 other doggies who I quite like. I would love to play with them, but foster mum says I can't until I am better. I do get to go on lead walks around the garden with them though - I can't wait till I can play properly. I love my Kongs filled with peanut butter, roo tendons and pigs ears, all natural treats for this boy.

I am currently still learning my manners, like waiting for my food and not pulling on a leash, but I get so excited that I think I need a bit more practice. But since I can't walk that far at the moment, it's just gonna take me a bit more time I guess. I am also getting used to my crate and sleep there quiet as a mouse all night in the living room, but once I am better, I would just love to sleep with you if you let me.

I have met a couple of kitty cats, but they didn't really like me very much, but I was curious only. I am sure if I got to meet a cat who likes dogs, I would be fine . with proper introductions.

I love my hoomans and really like it when they are there, but am happy to be with another dog for company if you have to work. I love kids, but I am told I will be a large dog and as I am still just a youngster and can get a bit excited, maybe older kids would be better. But come meet me anyway, I may surprise you. I have the softest fur and the most gentle nature, I think you may all just fall in love. But be warned, I can be a little shy when I first meet you - but give me a treat and I will be your best friend forever.
