About Henrik ~ 9 month old Staffy x (On Trial 1/3/20)
Hi, my name is Henrik! I am a 9-month-old male Staffy x and I am a lovable little pup who is looking for my forever loving home. My foster parents tell me I'm crazy little cuddle monster and all I want to do is play!
I had a sad beginning to life and sat in a shelter since I was just a little pup. I was on death row due to the shelter being full but I was saved by Dog Rescue Newcastle and brought into foster care!
Currently, I live with my foster parents and foster siblings Bella the border collie and Milo the cat. I feel so much love and care from my foster parents and love cuddles! I am a very energetic pup who needs lots of exercises every day. I don’t live in a big yard, but my foster parents take me to the park and walk me twice a day. It makes me so happy to be able to stretch my legs.
My training is going well and I recently learnt how to sit! I'm really enjoy learning and getting lots of praise and treats! I am great with other dogs and have visited the dog park a few times and absolutely loved it! I also tried swimming at the dog beach which was loads of fun so I really need someone who wants an active companion who is loving and loyal.
I am still learning commands. I have to mastered sit and am getting better at stay but I need someone who is committed to furthering my training. I sleep inside on my bed but through the day I hangout outside with my foster sister Bella.
I am a super friendly dog and when I see people and other dogs, I always want to jump all over them, but my foster mum is working on teaching me not to jump all over people. I just love everyone but I know I need to work on my manners.
I love my foster family’s cat Milo, but he doesn’t really like me, I would be ok if I lived with a cat in my forever home although a slow introduction is best.
When I first arrived at my foster family’s house, I had a few accidents but once I was shown where to go to the toilet, I learnt very quickly to go outside although I still have the occasional accident.
I would love to go to a home where I had another dog to play with and a sized decent back yard so I can play outside and stretch my long legs. It would be best if any children I live with are over 10 years old as I am a boisterous pup and weighing in at 15kg, I could accidentally knock little ones over. I am just a puppy so I'm still learning so need lots of exercise and toys to play with otherwise I can play with things I'm not meant to (sorry about that shoe...)
I can’t wait to meet you and start my next life chapter! Please consider me as the next addition to your family, you will not be disappointed if you are looking for a new best friend to have fun and adventures with!
