About Ellie
Hello I am Ellie.
I am a beautiful, sweet girl who enjoys the quiet life. I am an affectionate little lady but not one who wants to be cuddled a lot, I much prefer to sit or lay down next to you to enjoy my pats.
I enjoy going for drives in the car and get excited when I see my lead and harness to go for a walk.
I am currently in care with friendly medium to large breed dogs and though they were all excited to meet me I was not fazed at all by them.
I am a girl who enjoys the luxury of an indoor life and have great indoor manners using the doggy door when I need to go outside for the toilet.
My new family also need to know that with my breed I will need regular grooming every 6 weeks or so to ensure my coat stays beautifully trimmed and matt free…..what can I say, I am a girl who loves her pamper sessions.
In care I am enjoying a home cooked casserole and Black Hawk biscuits twice a day, I am also partial to Schmacko Stix as well for a snack. When I came into care my teeth were not the best, but Paw Prints have had the work done that was needed and now I need to make the most of those that I have left.
My ideal home would be with an older person, with no young children, who is home often and will include me inside as part of the family. Someone who will love me and spoil me and leave me wanting for nothing.

Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated)

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
