Bella ~ 3yo Kelpie (Deposit taken. Trial 18/1/20)

Bella is a gorgeous 3yo, female Kelpie. She is full of life and loves all the attention she can get. Bella is ready for her forever home where she can be loved and cared for.

Bella was raised on a farm and has been a working dog but has settled well in a home in suburbia. She has met a lot of people since being in care and has loved all of them. She has also been around children as young as 4, and has shown a gentle side towards them. She will sniff the child then carry on with her day. Bella can be timid at the beginning but given time she will come through with confidence. Certain sounds like clapping, and sudden movements tend to scare Bella and she may become timid for a few seconds but she will pick up again once she realises there's nothing but love for her.

Bella has been an outside dog since coming into care and is happy to chill out in her kennel. When she hears you come outside, she will race over to greet you and get as much cuddles as she possibly can. We would like Bella to be included in family life and have some time inside. Bella loves to explore so if your yard has a hole under the fence or a gap, she will want to take herself on an adventure. She will not jump over fences, she prefers to wiggle her way under them.

Bella has picked up requests such as "Sit" and "Come", but due to her excitement and energy - her mind will wander off and she will lose focus. She will need someone to continue her training and be consistent and patient.

Bella is comfortable with other dogs or happy just as a family dog on her own. She loves to “herd” other dogs and gets on best with any dog her size with a calm temperament. Larger dogs with a lot of excitement tend to give her anxiety at this point in time.

Bella has no interest in toys or fetching a ball but she loves going for walks so she needs someone happy to walk her once or twice a day. She would best suit an active person or a family that would be outside with her to watch her zoomies and will invite her inside for bonding time.

Bella's adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
