Hi my name is Lexi, I'm a beautiful girl who sadly I need a new home because the young children in my family scare me, my owners think maybe one of them accidentally hurt my because now I just avoid them and I’m not happy when they are around, so now I have to be kept away from them for my sake.
My owners are heartbroken that they need to re-home me as they love me lots. 😢
I’m a bit on the porky side at the moment, I need to lose 6 kilos, Jan called me dumpling when I was having my behavioural assessment but I’m a very delicious dumpling 😍 oh and I went well with my assessment. 👍
I know how to sit, wait, go to my bed when you tell me and have recall, I do pull on the lead but if I could go to obedience school I would learn not to do that and it would give my owners good leadership skills with me.
I’m good with other dogs but I can play rough and if one picks on me I will have a go back like most dogs do!
I’m scared of thunder storms and fireworks which is common with dogs.
So if you think you can offer me a good forever home where you’ll be able to give me all the above in return I will give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for!

If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to

and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan at jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
