About Toby
Toby is a strong boy, with a heart of Gold.
Unfortunately has had a sad life so far, locked up in a pen since a pup, with his sister. They had never been taught manners or rules, socialised with other dogs, or even walked on a leash.

In care now, and without his sister, he is getting some intense training from his carer.
He is now listening and starting to calm down, realising that the world is bigger than a pen and can be lots of fun.
He has been crate trained when indoors, and sleeps in that over night very well.
He has learned to sit on command (mostly)
He is currently tackling the wait command, especially when it comes to food, he loves food.
He is learning not to jump, especially around children. He is still a puppy at heart and gets excited, he doesn't realise how big he is or that he could hurt young kids.
He is learning how to interact with other dogs. When he arrived, he didn't know how to behave with other dogs, but he is now playing with one other dog in care quiet well.
NOT RECOMMENDED: for a family with young kids, as he may accidentally bowl them over, hurt them, and the kids may find him a bit too much.
If you have a cat, he will chase it. He's never seen them before and the temptation is too much.
IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER DOG, you must bring it to the meet, and be prepared to slowly introduce them, not just throw them in a yard together to figure it out
HE MUST have a strong dominant owner who can really be a pack leader and teach all the things a great dog must know. He is a blank canvas so he will become what you make of him.

3. Due to the number of applications we receive all correspondence is through email and if your application is short listed we will either call you to discuss it further and possible invite you to a meet and greet.
