Kit the kitten is a fluffy ball of cute who is yet to realise his full potential. With his lush tabby coat and big brown eyes, it is hard not to fall head over heels with this special little guy.
Kit is an active and funny little kitten who is comfortable in his own skin, but he is still a bit wary of people. That’s because Kit and his sister Fern (also listed on Pet Rescue) spent much of their young kittenhood surviving in people’s backyards and sheds. It wasn’t an easy life, so Kit has really enjoyed the regular food supply, warmth and safety offered in foster care. But he is yet to fully warm to people.
Although he will allow you to pick him up for a cuddle occasionally, Kit needs a patient and gentle human willing to invest the time in teaching him how to be loved. Kit is not much of a lap kitty yet – he’s far too busy exploring, running, playing and climbing to settle down for pats.
Kit has been in foster care with older cats and a dog, and is social with all of them, however he would not be suitable for a home with small children. Kit needs a quiet to semi-quiet home environment to help bring out his best. Loud sudden noises scare this little guy, so a more sedate home life would suit him best.

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. We’ll be in touch!
2. Call us on 0413 938 250 for more information about your kitty of choice.
3. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home
4. If your adoption is successful we ask that you pay the nominated fee to us in cash or via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
5. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty which will include a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership form that must be completed and paid by you ($15 fee applies) no later than four weeks after the adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
