About Coco
Introducing Coco, this beautiful bundle of energy is a 9 month old Amstaff x Kelpie.
Coco has a very gentle nature, is very social, is perfect with other dogs, good with cats, and is curious of chickens but knows not to chase them.
Coco would make the perfect active family dog. She is great with kids, is very smart and follows most commands. Is well behaved off lead and has great recall, loves to play and fetch her favourite toys. She would be well suited to agility training as she can jump and manoeuvre quickly.
Coco is still a puppy, so if you like your shoes in one piece leave them out of her reach, and anything else you want to keep. She doesn’t chew her squeaky plush dog toy though - because she loves it the best!
Coco loves car rides, is strong on lead but getting better (she prefers walking beside you off lead) is great both inside and outside, and is quite a good guard dog, as she has a sharp bark when someone arrives or she feels something is wrong...stops as soon as commanded though.
If you think that Coco may be a good fit with your family please contact us.
Coco comes with all her vet work completed, is available for trial with a $50 refundable deposit, and her adoption fee is $400.
Adoption details
FCAR house all dogs with foster carers in private homes. This allows them to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. We then have an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dog may suit your family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial. A $50 deposit is required at the commencement of the trial period. If the dog doesn't fit with your family, they will be returned to us and deposit refunded.
To arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs please message this page or call 0447 175511.
The committee and carers of FCAR are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we don't answer your enquiry straight away.
