About Zeus
This gentle loving desexed male German Shepherd is Zeus who has come from a Sydney Animal Shelter after his former owner failed to collect him.
This gentle natured two year old shepherd found being confined in a kennel in a highly volatile animal shelter extremely stressful and so we were asked to take him into care as he had shut down and was an extremely anxious dog.
Zeus has been desexed and vaccination and is in care in a foster home at Kurri Kurri. The impact of being abandoned by his former owner has imprinted on Zeus and he will need a caring owner to show him love again.
Zeus is a stunning looking shepherd who would love to reconnect with his humans in either a couple or family who would understand his needs.
This boy knows his basic commands and is fully house trained and voice responsive. Zeus is in excellent health and would be best suited in a home as a friend for a female dog of similar size.
Zeus needs a calm home environment where he can bond with his family and be given inclusion in the home and be an integral family member.

Medical notes
Zeus is in good health has been desexed, C5 vaccinated and is on heart worm prevention and is microchipped
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
