About Morty
Hello everyone, my name is Morty and I am the sweetest, most adorable pup you’ll ever meet! My favourite things to do are stare lovingly into your eyes and snuggle into your shoulder and lay my head on your neck. I really just want to show you so much love and my foster mum says i am a master heart melter. I am a clever and quiet boy who has had a scary start to life, being rescued from a fire ravaged area. My brothers and I were split up and brought a long way to safety and it took a little while for the beautiful people in the rescue groups to put us back together again and give us a chance at a great life. I have come from the bush and I’m finding the city to be such a fun place so far. I am the biggest out of my litter but also the most gentle and laid back. My mum says if i flap my ears enough i may just fly, that’s how big they are! I happily sleep in a crate all night long and only cry when I neees to go to the toilet. Morty is best suited to a home with another dog or someone home more often.
I am a tiny pup and I would love to find my forever home this Christmas so I can fill your entire heart with my love.

Location: Our dogs are in family foster care in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
All of our dogs are desexed, vaccinated, micro chipped and heart worm treated. There are no exceptions.

Adoption Process
If you should choose to adopt a dog from SEQ K9 Rescue Inc:
You will be asked to complete an Online Adoption Application.
Completing this form helps us to determine if the dog you are applying for will fit your family. Some dogs have special needs so we may be looking for a specific forever home.
After you have completed the Online Adoption Application, we will have the information to determine if you are a good match for the dog you are applying for. Sometimes we may recommend another dog we have in our care.
Next, we will arrange for you to meet the dog/puppy.
We ask that you bring along your children and your dog to the meet. A yard check (or yard photos) will be checked and only then will approval be considered.
Please remember sometimes there are several applications for the same dog so this process may take up to a week.
If your application is approved, now is the time to invest in a dog harness, led, bedding and toys.
All adoption fees must be cleared before our dogs can be collected from our carers. Our carers are not allowed to accept cash. Bank deposit/transfers only.
We also offer a 2 week trial period - if your new family member is not settling please contact SEQ K9 Rescue Inc via email immediately. We are happy to assist with training or advise if the dog has not settled.
If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to the rescue organisation, the adoption fee minus a $50 non-refundable deposit will be refunded to you. Your refund will be returned via bank transfer within 10 working days.
If the dog is returned after the trial period generally no refund will be made.
Interstate adoptions may be requested to supply additional information and photographs of the proposed environment for the dog. Interstate adopter must pay transport costs in addition to the adoption fee.
If the dog is to return from an interstate adoption, the adopter is to pay all costs to return the animal to SEQ K9 Rescue Inc in Brisbane.
