Dana

Dana wants to love and be loved. She is such a "people person" and draws you to her so you're unable to resist giving her a pat, a scratch under her chin or a cuddle. That funny face with all those wrinkles gives her a worried look, but then her smile and her head nudging your hand soon convinces you otherwise. Dana will be a wonderful, loving and loyal companion. Unfortunately dana has the usual problem that many sharpei's have and that is inverted eyelashes. The medical name is "entropia" and means dana's eyes are continually irritated, similar to having grains of sand in her eyes at all times. Dana requires a simple veterinary procedure but it is still costly (as most vet fees are!) so we're once again hoping the generosity of animal lovers will help dana see properly. Thanks to everyone who donated to dana's appeal. . She has had her surgery and is now recuperating!
