Shivers

Shivers is an affectionate but initially shy little kitten. However once he knows you come bearing pats, he generally becomes a good friend very quickly.

He came into us after being handed in to a pound covered in varnish, the full story of which we'll never know! However after volunteers spent hours painstakingly chopping almost his whole coat off (pictured above), he settled in really well and has now grown back his beautiful ginger coat.

Due to a lot of negative handling when he was getting cleaned up, he's not that keen on being picked up so would need humans who were tolerant and respectful to this. However he is a very affectionate cat and will come up onto laps of his own accord, when he's not chasing a shadow, or getting chased by his shadow or partaking in any number of other games he's created.
