About Cleo
Cleo is an extraordinary medium hair exotic mix cat. At one year old she still has all of her kitten-like qualities but she has settled into calm, lap-cat mode.
She was rescued from under a pile of surfboards in a Bondi backpackers and through the devotion and care of her foster carer, Cleo left that wild life behind and settled down really quickly.
Cleo really doesn't like other cats and she bonds very closely with the human/s who look after her. So, it would be best of she was an only pet.
Her dream home would be with someone who is home most of the time so that she can be close and sit on their lap for a good part of the time. She loves to be petted and even hand fed. Cleo's exotic ancestry demands that she be treated like a queen.

Adoption details
Once your fur friend is chosen, prospective adopters will fill out an adoption application and arrange a date for us to do a home visit. The purpose of the visit is to make sure that the environment is appropriate and that the animal is the best match for you.
We prefer that our adoption cats and kittens should be indoor animals, with supervised outside access where appropriate. The reason for this is to minimise the impact on native wildlife and to make it less likely that the animal comes to grief through motor vehicle impact and exposure to FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) through cat fights. Our adoption fee for Cleo is $150, which is a non-profit amount covering desexing, microchipping, vaccination, flea and worming treatment and transport.
