About rex
Rex was surrendered a few months ago and was going great guns in foster care until one day he decided to follow his foster mum to work. Unfortunately he didn't see the car coming at 80kms an hour which unfortunately for Rex, he came off second best.
It was discovered that he had a fracture in his pelvis so has been on strict rest for a good 8 weeks.
We feel that he is now ready for adoption even though it could take a while for him to heal..
Rex is the most delightful boy and is now pretty much living a normal life although he will never make a working dog.
He is so easy to foster and although he is good with other dogs, he doesn't really like to be annoyed by them in his face.
He is very focused on cats although he has never hurt one and has been know to babysit puppies, where he watches over them like a duck with her babies.
He is very gentle, loves his food, hates being put on a lead but is improving. He is good in the car , crate trained and house trained.
Rex is very much an inside couch potatoe and just loves cuddles. He is such a sweet boy , not overly energetic and at this stage probably cant cope with long walks. He will sit and shake hands and is good with kids.
