About Tilly
Hi! I’m Tilly! I just outran the fires down in Northern NSW and I’m looking for my forever home where I’ll be safe and loved! Want to know more about me?
I’m probably a mix of Bull Arab, Goof-ball and maybe even some Dalmatian! I might be about 2 years old? I’ll do anything for a scratch on the head and a tummy rub. And I will do ANYTHING you want for a kibble. I love food! I’m very food motivated, which my foster mom says has made me easy to train! I’ve learned to sit perfectly and, I’m working on “come” and “lay down”. Oh and I learned my name in about five minutes flat.
I will love you no matter what, but if you have a dog-brother or sister for me to wrestle with, I’ll be the happiest camper! I love to nap, preferably next to you on the couch, but I’m ok to nap on my floor on the bed too. I’m hilariously bad at sleeping on my mat – I’m always half on and half off! I’m great with cats – very curious about them, love to give them a sniff but respect their space when they’ve had enough.
I was in a cage for a long time before this, but I’ve been learning to walk really well on the leash – by my third walk, I had stopped pulling completely! I love to have a sniff, but will wait for my person to catch up as soon as I reach the end of the lead. I can even walk beside you if you want me to! I am friendly with other dogs I meet both on and off leash. I do get tired from walks, so please let me have a good nap afterwards.
The crate is my happy place. I feel safe in there and have no problem sleeping the whole night through. I love to get treats out of a Kong – keeps me entertained for ages! I’m great at doing my business in the yard – I haven’t had a mistake inside the house since my very first day! I am a quick learner. I don’t dig. I almost never bark. I don’t jump fences. I don’t beg.
I’d love to meet you if you think you’d be a good person for me?
