About Cupcake ~ Chihuahua puppy (deposit taken 25/11/19)
Cupcake is a beautiful 12 week old female Chihuahua puppy who loves to play with her toys and other dogs. She is full of energy and would like another small puppy-friendly dog to play with.
Cupcake is a very healthy, happy puppy who needs a family with someone home most of the time. Being so small, she is not available to families with children under 12 years old. Cupcake is a house dog but you still need a very secure yard with no gaps under fences and gates and definitely no rural fences.
Like all puppies, she loves to chew things including fingers and toes and has very sharp baby teeth. Cupcake is learning house training which would need to be continued in her new home with reward training. We always recommend puppy school when fully vaccinated. All dogs and puppies need plenty of love, affection, exercise and training.
As Cupcake is not desexed yet, she is only available for adoption in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to return to our vets for her second vaccination and desexing at 6 months old. Cupcake is NOT available for interstate adoption.
For more information on Cupcake you can contact her foster mum Debbie at debbie_morphett@bigpond.com . Cupcake is in care in Beresfield, NSW (near Newcastle).
Her adoption fee is $700 which includes her microchip, first two vaccinations and desexing and she is flea and worm treated and vet checked.
Medical notes
As Cupcake is not desexed yet, she is only available for adoption in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to return to our vets for her second vaccination and desexing at 6 months old.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
