About Terence
**terence is trialling his new home**
our initial observations of terence are that he is lovely boy. That is, he is very affectionate towards humans. He loves attention, pats & cuddles. He gets on well with our own dog. He is toilet trained but i don't think he's ever had any obedience training. We're teaching him to sit and walk on the lead. Fortunately, he's eager to please and is learning quickly. He doesn't yet recognise his name but recall is not a problem as he's not the runaway type - he doesn't get far away for long and keeps running back to you for a pat and reassurance. We haven't seen him interact with any children yet. The few children he's come into contact with at the shopping centre - he's basically ignored. In the house he's quite content to curl up and snooze near your feet and it only takes one pat on the couch as an invitation and he jumps up straight away. Sometimes he likes to sleep on your lap and at other times he's happy just to sleep on the couch next to you. My thoughts are that he would do well perhaps with couple or a middle aged lady or two. Another small dog would be ok but not strictly necessary - he definitely likes human company more than other doggy company. He is a good watchdog who barks at any strange or unusual noises but in no way is he an excessiver barker. The photos on the website just don't do him justice. He is cute & good looking with a lovely varied-colour coat. If you are interested in one of our dogs please complete an application form. Completed application forms are attended to before queries.
