About Odin - Meet and Greet organised
Odin is a young desexed male Anatolian Shepherd who is in care at Kurri Kurri, NSW. True to this breed Odin is aloof, independent and is strong, athletic and bred to protect livestock.
This large boned pure bred boy has not had a good start to his young life. He needs a caring home as he is very timid and shy of strangers. Due to his size and strength we would recommend a home with no young children.
Odin would be an ideal dog for a property where he can have room to run, keep a visual guard and alert you to strangers approaching.
Odin will grow to a 50 to 60 plus kilos in weight and 81 cm in height. He is a stock coat biscuit white in colour.
Odin would be suitable for a home with another good natured female dog of similar size. Not suited to a home with cats, pocket pets and rodents.

Medical notes
Odin has been desexed and C5 vaccinated. He is microchipped, wormed and on flea prevention.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
