Hi I'm Amber and I'm a bit of a liquorice all sorts!
As a puppy I was labelled a Shih Tzu x Pomeranian... my people then thought I could have Dachshund in me. What matters is I'm somewhere between small and medium sized; I have a long body, short legs, and a pretty face.
I'm almost 6, which let's face it, is the perfect age. I'm not a crazy puppy, I'm fully house trained, I sleep through the night, and I'm good on the lead. I've got lots of life in me yet!
I like other dogs and get very excited when I see one, but I just want to say hi. My recall does need work, but that's because playing is just too much fun! I have lived with kids and suit a family with older kids who will give me space (especially when eating).
I love my treats and my toy piggy - I'll bring her to you whenever I feel like a game. I like to curl up on your lap when I'm tired and will happily sleep on the end of your bed if you let me.

Adoption details
ADOPTION:
1. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com to contact our Adoption Team & we will send you an expression of interest form to return
2. Successful applicants will then have a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer, along with a volunteer home visit & fence check, before beginning a trial period with the dog to ensure a great match for all involved.
DFL dogs are vaccinated, micro chipped & desexed prior to adoption (or at 6 months as a condition of adoption).
FOSTER:
If a dog is listed as "Foster Carer Needed", they are looking for a temporary home in Perth metro while their vet work is completed and while they wait for their forever home. They may also be fostered with the view to adoption. Please email us for more information.

2. Foster care applicants will then have a volunteer home visit & fence check, and a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer/rescue representative, before commencing foster care.
