About Zoe 🌼
This sassy little lady is Zoe....she's our 8 month old Blue Tan Point Frenchie, and an absolute stunner! She's in care with 2 other host dogs who she gets along great with. This little lady gains the trust of her humans fairly quickly and once she does, she will follow you everywhere. She has a very playful personality and would certainly benefit from having another Frenchie or similiar sized dog to play and hang out with. She tends to rule the pack, but only with her sassiness, not aggression. If she was to be an only dog, she would prefer to have the company of her humans around, rather than being left on her own all day.
Zoe also shares her foster home with young children who she absolutely adores, but does jump up in excitement. She does get a little startled with sudden movements and noises, and will bark until she realises where or who the sound is coming somewhat vocal when playing with her furry friends. from. Zoe is fully toilet trained inside the home apart from the odd excited/nervous accident. Zoe enjoys snuggling up with her humans on the couch....ok, you'll be lucky to actually sit, before she's in your lap!
The night time sleeping routine is quite relaxed and whilst some nights she chooses to sleep in her foster mum's room, other nights she's quite happy to sleep alongside her furry friends.
Despite their glum expression, the French Bulldog is comical and entertaining. They are quite stubborn and can be challenging to train, yet also surprisingly sensitive, remembers what they learn, and responds well to early, patient, persistent training that utilizes food motivation.
Snorting, snuffling, and flatulence go with the territory of short-faced breeds. We recommend doing your research on the breed before choosing to own one, as they can come with a range of health issues and require certain needs.
Due to their 'screw' tails, they are susceptible to a condition known as 'hemivertebra of the spine'. When hemivertebra is present in your dog’s tail, it typically is not an issue. When it is in their spine, it can lead to serious problems. The deformity of the vertebrae will lead to a twisting of the spine which can compress your dog’s spinal cord. Hemivertebra can be minor, where only one or two vertebrae have the deformity and the dog does not experience any clinical signs. In some cases, the dog will experience minor symptoms; in other cases, the condition will significantly impact the dog’s ability to function.
Zoe has been tested for this condition and has 2 Hemivertebre present which is fairly common in the Breed. Both are located in the Thoracic region of the spine, which is the most common area to be affected. Discouraging her jumping on and off the lounge and bed will minimise the risk of any spinal issues. Please take into consideration, the French Bulldog is by no means an athlete or flyball champion! Any activities that involve twisting of the spine are not recommended.
So if you've done your research and decided that this breed is for you, please send us an enquiry. Zoe has had all her vet work completed and now ready to head off to her forever home. She is located in Mardi on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
