Dustin is a handsome little man of just under 18kgs with a bit more growing to do looking for a very special home, as he is a busy boy, and likes company.
Dustin and his new owners will need to attend some form of structured group training. The socialisation is particularly important as well as the training for both him and his human. He already knows and responds to lots of words and commands and he really does try to please. He loves hearing the words Good Boy especially when accompanied by a treat.
He just wants to relax and enjoy your company.

He is even happy with the cat's company, or another dog to play with

Dustin has a very long tail which he can see out of the corner of his eye. At times of excitement or boredom he is prone to chasing his tail. Easily distracted from this manoeuvre the vets aren’t concerned. However he is going to need to be homed with someone who needs him to be around a lot of the time. Someone who needs his company.

Dustin walks nicely on the lead and takes pleasure in meeting new people and learning new things.
He sits automatically and has almost mastered the “leave” command.
He is not mouthy, he’s soft and gentle. He is not jumpy, he just likes to sit with you and enjoy pats. He is not a chewer but he will need toys to keep him stimulated. He is not interested in cats, he doesn’t really understand them, he’d rather chase a ball.

Dustin’s toileting is coming along but he learns quickly and with supervision, repetition and praise he will understand quickly.
