About Tony Stark ~ Border Collie x (on trial 24/11/19)
Tony Stark is a friendly Border Collie x puppy. If you’re looking for a new best friend this is the guy for you. Tony is full of personality and loves all things energetic.
He’ll shadow you if you’re going somewhere he thinks may be interesting but is just as happy playing with his sister, brother and big foster brothers and sister.
Tony’s great with kids and doesn’t nip, he jumps when he first sees you but that’s just because he’s so excited. Laps are a favourite place for him to curl up and fall asleep. He chases the ball and comes when called so I’m confident he’s going to respond well to training.
Tony will grow up to be a medium dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Tony is currently living with 4 other big dogs, 4 chickens (who he likes to bark at through the fence) as well as his brother and sister so would need another doggy friend for company. His new family will need to provide him with a stimulating environment, lots of time and walks as he’s going to be a high energy guy. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.
Tony needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 7 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
As Tony is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
Tony's siblings: Pepper Potts and Rupert Rhodes are also available for adoption.
For more information or to meet Tony, please contact Beth on 0423 422 783
or email Beth_73@bigpond.net.au . Tony is in the Lake Maquarie area, NSW (south of Newcastle. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Tony's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
