About Pepper Potts ~ Border Collie x (on trial 24/11/19)
Hi, I’m Pepper Potts - a beautiful Border Collie x puppy. I’m looking for the perfect family for a super energetic girl like me!
I love to chase my foster family, brothers & big foster brothers & sisters and try to pinch anything they have that I think is interesting. I’m a good girl though – I don’t bite and I settle quickly when someone gives me a cuddle.
I’m used to having small children, big dogs and chickens (on the other side of the fence) around. I will need a family who will welcome me inside and on adventures with them. They’ll also need to spend time training and walking me – my foster mum thinks I’m a very clever girl and will learn quickly.
Pepper will grow up to be a medium dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Pepper will need a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate as she would be too lonely on her own. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.
Pepper needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 7 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
As Pepper is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
Pepper's brothers: Tony Stark and Rupert Rhodes are also available for adoption.
For more information or to meet Pepper, please contact Beth on 0423 422 783
or email Beth_73@bigpond.net.au . Pepper is in the Lake Maquarie area, NSW (south of Newcastle. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Pepper's adoption fee is $550 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.
Medical notes
As Pepper is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
