Hi my name is Laslow. When I was first brought in to the shelter I was in a bad way, sick, scared, and terrified of people, the staff could see that I was in need of some serious TLC. I spent some time in the cattery then went to a wonderful foster carers home to learn how to live like a king, and I'm now ready for my forever family. While with my foster carers I learnt that people are ok, especially when they give me face/cheek rubs and food! I love my food! I will let you know when I want more pats by banging/rubbing my head against you and when I've had enough I'll simply move out of arms reach. I have recently started to like jumping onto the couch with my foster carers and demand pats and then go to sleep against their legs. I am still wary of new people, sudden movements and loud noises but once I hear familiar voices I will ask for pats and food. I would love a little hiding spot to retreat to if I get a bit scared and a quiet home with owners that are happy to give me pats but also happy to let me be when I've had enough. I would be best suited to an adult only home with experienced cat owners, ones that will allow me plenty of time to get to know them!
