About Whinnee
Colour:dove hooded
born: september 2009
whinnee came from a place in wyong. She was living in a dirty, wet tank and was sitting on faeces when i saw her. She was riddled with mites and quite thin for a 4 week old rat. Whinnee has great health, she has only ever had some sneezes when i first got her, and since then just some random sneezes as the weather has gotten colder. Whinnee is a very precious rat, she will most probably always take up an alpha role due to being so strong willed, but is not an aggressive rat. She loves her out of cage time and will wait every early morning and in the evening to be let out. Whinnie, like most rats, is a bit of an escape artist and likes to jump. She is lovely and friendly once she gets to know you, but prefers exploring than keeping still. She will come for treats, come to her name, and climb all over you. Whinnee will love nothing more than to be around you and have a play with her friends. I have witnessed in the time that i have had her how caring she is for her cagemates. Whinnee's bestfriend, frankie, has always been a very sickly rat with myco, whinnee has always been there to comfort, groom and keep frank warm. After the loss of her other cagemate blossom, whinnee became quite withdrawn and it has been an uphill battle getting her back to herself, but we're getting there and it just shows how much love she has for her friends. I am confident whinnee would make any owner a very happy person, her bright and energetic personality is so loveable. *rats are not held at the shelter, but can be privately adopted.
