About Rodney
Rodney came into our care when a resident moved him from his stray other and the rest of his litter. He had the sniffles and was vulnerable being left out in the pelting hot sun. Our lovely nurse Laura took him home and cared for him around the clock, and he's now a strong, playful and adventurous little kitten ready to take on the world, and find his forever home :)
Rodney is a stunning silver tabby and white short haired kitten, with a glorious bold striped tail and lovely markings. He has a playful personality and loves company. Rodney has been raised in a foster home with a beautiful 2 year old girl, so he's used to children who pick him up and pat him gently. He's also lived with two small dogs so he'd be great for a dog friendly home too.
Rodeny must be kept strictly indoors or have access to a shady outdoor enclosure, safe on his own property. He has very pale features so he must be protected from getting skin cancer.
Adoption details
Please contact the clinic and ask to speak with Rosie, our receptionist and cat adoption officer.
All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
