Hi, my name is Tilly, and my family say I'm just about the friendliest dog you could ever meet. I love people of all ages (especially kids!) and my favourite activity is snuggling with whoever will sit still long enough to let me jump on their lap.

While I love people, I'm discovering that I don't like to share them with other dogs, and my family also has a Labrador. I'm a bit mean to him sometimes, which is why they think I will be happier in a home without other dogs. I'm also not a fan of cats, so I need to be in a house where I'm the one and only pet (to soak up all the love!).

I was adopted by my family 6 months ago from a rescue organisation, so not much is known about my former life. They think I was used as a breeding dog, as I was not desexed when I was picked up on a street in a country town. They also think I have had a chronic skin disease as a pup that caused all my hair to fall out (which is why my fur is patchy). My mum is a vet nurse and the vets have examined me and say there's nothing wrong with me now, and I'm not itchy at all, but they don't think the rest of my fur will ever grow back (but they tell me I'm still really cute!). Because of all of this, nobody really knows how old I am, but they think I'm about 7 or 8.

I have a slight limp in my right elbow, and the vets have done xrays and found I have some damage to my elbow, but that doesn't stop me from going for walks and runs every day, and at this stage doesn't require any ongoing medications or treatment.

I am fully vaccinated and wormed, and I had my teeth cleaned a month ago, so my smile is extra sparkly.

My family loves me so much and they are so sad to be putting me up for adoption, but they want me to have the very best life with the very best people. "
