About Dahlia
Dahlia is a very special kitty who came to her current foster carer in December 2019, extremely withdrawn and people shy. She had been through a very rough few months, and has worked very hard and bravely to come out of her shell again. She has made remarkable progress in the last few weeks and is almost a complete, normal kitty again! In time, she will be the biggest cuddle bug around!
Dahlia gets along well with other cats, when properly introduced, and shows no sign of aggression or temper. She is still adjusting to being a normal cat, and has moments of nervousness which sends her underneath the nearest table but she usually comes out of it quickly when she realises that she's not in danger!
She also likes to sing, especially if there's another cat around. It's not yowling or angry, she just.. sings! It's adorable! :)
Dahlia needs a person as special as she is to take her in and love her forever! She will need just a little time and patience to settle in and become her best self and when she does, you will have the cutest little house panther around! She's a very pretty girl with perfect sleek black hair and gorgeous sparkly green eyes that are ever so slightly crossed.
Dahlia has no behavioural issues, aside from her occasional skittishness, only claws on her own furniture, doesn't scratch, bite or yowl and has no problems using the litterbox.
Dahlia would love a house where there are no kids or dogs, in a fairly quiet environment. She's wary of the television, though she's getting better on that front, and she's wary of feet, but once you get her into getting a pat, she's REALLY into it.
