About Jessie
Meet our gorgeous little Miss, Jessie. Jessie is a sweet and affectionate little pooch whose favourite thing in the world is getting cuddles and tummy rubs from her people. She wants to be wherever her people are and so will suit someone who is home more often than not. Now, while Jessie loves adults, and is fine with older children, she is not a fan of little children as their energy, noise and unpredictability upsets her. Given this, Jessie must be rehomed in a home without children under the age of 10. We are told Jessie doesn't get along with cats, but has shown some tolerance around a confident cat; all the same, it might be best to be cautious where felines are concerned! Jessie hasn't been around many dogs in her life, however she seems pretty social with those she has met since being in care, when they have a polite introduction. Most likely best matched to dogs of her own size.
Jessie loves going out for walks and is pretty good on lead. She is well behaved and will sit for treats. She is also quite a playful girl and will chase a ball or toy for you. She appears to have been mainly an outdoors dog in her previous life, but has commenced toilet training with her carer and she is learning what is expected of her now... obviously in a brand new home, with different layouts and routines, some accidents may occur, but as Jessie is such a people person, we think she deserves a home where she can lap up the love inside the home as well as outside.
If you would enjoy the company of a cute and loving little girl and don't have too many visits from little people, Jessie could be your perfect match.
She has been spayed recently but we are taking applications and can arrange a meet now, with her available date for adoption set at 22 November or after.
MEDICAL NOTES
Our adoption fee includes a vet check, flea and worm treatment, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership) and sterilisation. The fee does not include heartworm treatment.
ADOPTION DETAILS
Adoption Fee: $665
Our adoption process starts by completing our full enquiry form via the SAFE website. The chosen applicant will then chat to the dog's carer and a meet-and-greet is arranged so you and your family (including any existing dog) can meet your selected dog. The adoption paperwork will be emailed to the applicant to complete, ready for the meet.
We carry out a yard check or will accept photos of your fencing/yard if you're out of the Bunbury area.
The adoption fee must be deposited in full into the SAFE Bunbury bank account before an adoption trial can start. Sorry, we cannot accept cash. We offer a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.
Upon completion of the trial period we arrange transfer of the details on the dog's microchip from our name into yours, and email you copies of the dog's vet records.
