About 💙Monty💙
It's time for me to find my 'Forever home' and in order for them to find me the best home possible, we need to be a great match, so let me introduce myself....
Monty is my name, and I'm a Lab x Doberman x Cattle mix. I'm almost 9 weeks old and love nothing more than to spend time with my humans. I have 1 host dog in my foster home, and also my sibling Tilly, who has already found her forever home. They expect me to be a medium to large dog when fully grown. I'm quite submissive when it comes to meeting new dogs and greet everyone with a tail wag.
My foster family love to kiss and cuddle me and I sleep inside in my crate with my sister! I spend lots of time inside with my foster family and trying really hard with toilet training, but my new family will need to be prepared to continue on with this in my new home. I also love to run and play in the backyard, so my forever home will need to have a good size yard. While I enjoy playing with my furry friends, I'm fairly chilled and also love to hang out with my humans.
I would be suited to a home with or without another dog. If I was to be an only dog, I would still love to have play dates with other dogs regularly which will also ensure that I stay well socialised. I would also love to go on outings with you to the park, beach or pretty much anywhere I'm allowed 💕
Whilst I'm an awesome little pup, we are hard work and need lots of training and guidance, so you must be willing to put in the effort. I promise to put in just as much effort to learn! I'm currently learning to 'sit' and love to please my humans.
To help get you started with training, our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
My vet work will be complete on Monday 18th November, which means that I'll be ready to leave my foster home shortly after. I'm located in Hamlyn Terrace on the Central Coast NSW and now quite excited to meet my new family.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
