About Willie
WILLIE
“Wee Willie Winkie runs around the yard,
Upstairs and downstairs in total disregard,
Licking on the windows, peeking in the door,
Where are all the humans I don’t do ignored?”
Author: Willie Wonkie
So you think you are ready for me?
Come on, come on put your thinking caps on. We live in Australia (visualise me rolling my eyes at you) so WHAT is a Willy Willy?
I was born under a Willy Willy star and I am true to my name. I love to play with my foster brother and boy do we play tug and chasey like mad Willy Willies.
Then of course like a true Willy Willy I just deflate and want to snuggle up beside or on you (I have no preference really as long as I can be “feel your heart beat kind of close”).
I love my food! DID I MENTION THAT I LOVE MY FOOD????
I also very much do not like to share it. Seriously what red blooded man is going to say “Sure buddy here take my perfect rare steak and eat it all up. It is all yours and can I get you some mustard or a beer to go with that?”
Being just a young Willie (9 months) with a bad start to life what with being deaf and also blind in one eye, I do have some moments that make my foster family tilt their heads on the side, squint at me and think “What the heck”? But I don’t judge them for that.
When they go out I don’t bark or howl or anything so girly. I just quietly whine a little talking amongst myselves (that would be I, myself and me) about how it will be okay just take deep breaths and they will be home soon. I find going into my crate and sleeping on my bed in there helps. I just don’t want the door to the crate closed, THAT doesn’t help just now.
I have met some other mini humans and I live with a 10 year old foster brother. They are OK I guess. Pretty much I am a daddy’s boy and just want couch, dad and cuddles.
I am not that keen on car travel. I mean what Willy Willy goes in a car and is OK with it? We are meant to be free and wild…well wildish, kind of, maybe.
I have been out for some walks but I have to say this lead thing is totally confusing. When I want to go right, it wants to go left, if I want to stop it keeps going. What kind of lead is that? It seems to have a mind of its own. I think eventually my lead and I will be on the same page. I still have a lot of training to do with it but I feel positive I will get it trained.
I get so excited when people come over to visit and I have to admit that I do like jumping up a bit though it is hard to judge where I land on the person due to my one eye. Nothing is quite where I think it is!
I think there are some small animals out there but I haven’t met them myself. I have heard words like Cat, chicken, guinea pig, etc. but I have no idea what they are. I have met small dogs and they make me a bit nervous but I will slowly get to understand them.
So if you would like your very own personalised, amazing, cuddly Willie Willie to love and hold and cherish then…you should look elsewhere! NO! NO! NO! Wait I was just kidding. Let your fingers do the walking right on over to the computer and you just fill in that application for your very own amazing Willie Willy action figure.
